The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus or SARS-CoV is the virus responsible for causing Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), one of the deadliest coronaviruses.[1]

ME/CFS[edit | edit source]

The SARS-CoV virus causes SARS, which has then caused chronic fatigue syndrome in develop in a group of SARS survivors in Hong Kong. A syndrome resembling fibromyalgia was found to have developed immediately after SARS in a group of SARS survivors in Toronto, Canada.[2][3]
