Sabine Moussier (born Diane Sabine Moussier, 12 July 1966) is a German-Mexican actress who is best known for her roles in the Mexican television company Televisa's telenovas. Her film roles include El privilegio de amar (1998), Amar sin límites (2006) and Burden of Guilt (2009).[1]

Illness[edit | edit source]

In late 2009, Moussier developed Guillain–Barré syndrome which travelled from her spine to her brain, affecting her ability to remember her lines and causing her such pain that doctors were forced to put her under sedation. The diagnosis forced Moussier to withdraw from filming in order to recover. By March 2010 she had recovered from Guillain–Barré syndrome but was subsequently diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome.[2] In 2021, Moussier announced she had recovered and was celebrating a year pain-free.[3]
