Ronald Tompkins

Ronald G. Tompkins, MD, ScD, is a professor of Surgery at the Harvard Medical School. He is also chief of Trauma, Burns and Surgical Critical Care Service at the Massachusetts General Hospital and chief of staff at the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Boston. Dr. Tompkins is a leading trauma and burn physician and trauma specialist at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Open Medicine Foundation.

Open Letter to The Lancet

Two open letters to the editor of The Lancet urged the editor to commission a fully independent review of the PACE trial, which the journal had published in 2011. In 2016, Dr. Tompkins, along with 41 colleagues in the ME/CFS field, signed the second letter.
