==Criticism== There are many people who believe that these chronic illness conditions are completely separate in pathophysiology, i.e., all symptoms associated with EDS are solely caused by a genetic defect of collagen, all of the symptoms of Lyme disease are caused by ''[[Borrelia burgdorferi]]'', all symptoms of CIRS are caused by the inciting agent, etc. However, it is becoming more clear that these conditions all go down a common pathway.{{Citation needed}} Further, it is also becoming increasingly clear that the above RCCX co-morbidities run with these conditions in individuals and within families.
