What about redirecting this to our own MEpedia:How to contribute? I think the text for that would be:

[[MEpedia:How_to_contribute]]

I'm thinking of turning this into a link to MEpedia:Terms of use, (and changing the label) since we already have a link to MEpedia:How to contribute in the sidebar, but the Terms of use is not as visible. And the Terms of use need to be easily found from any page. It's already listed on most pages, but a little more visibility may be called for. Thoughts Njt?

I think it would be better to use another link for that - privacy policy and cookie statement could be combined for instance, or terms of use and disclaimer. At the moment because the Developers link is not blank it is still shown in the footer as a hyphen. User:JaimeS, User:Kmdenmark and others may have further thoughts on where to have the terms of use. ~Njt (talk) 20:05, September 30, 2019 (EDT)
I removed the link, but the hyphen is still showing up in the footer. I'll revert the link and label until we decide what we want to do with this "Developers" link at the bottom of each page.

Try removing the hyphen from MediaWiki:Wikimedia-developers ~Njt (talk) 21:25, September 30, 2019 (EDT)
Done. Now the "Developers" link at the bottom of each page is gone. The question remains: do we want a different link in its place? (If so, I still think the Terms of use would be a logical choice.)
