Maria Leandro, MD, PhD, is a Consultant Rheumatologist and a researcher at the Division of Medicine, Centre of Rheumatology Research, University College London, London, United Kingdom. Her research interests are in inflammatory arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, B cell directed therapies in autoimmune diseases and role of B cells in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.[1]
