Jennifer Frankovich, MD, is a pediatric rheumatologist.[1] Frankovich specializes in systemic autoimmune and post-infectious inflammatory diseases that affect the brain, specifically pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS) and pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS).[1] She is the PANS Program Director at Stanford Children's Hospital and an Associate Professor in Pediatrics and Pediatric Rheumatology at Stanford School of Medicine.[1] She is on the scientific advisory board of the Open Medicine Foundation, owing to her experience with experience in autoimmunity and post-infectious inflammatory diseases, per the hypothesis that ME/CFS may have an autoimmune component that manifests following infection.[1]
