Janet Dafoe

Janet Dafoe, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who worked primarily with adolescents and children with ADHD, Asperger's, anxiety, and depression. She was a Staff Psychologist at the Children’s Health Council in Palo Alto from 1985 until 2005, and at Morrissey Compton Educational Center in Redwood City, CA from 2005 – present. When her son Whitney Dafoe became ill with ME, she began to care for him at home. She is married to Dr. Ronald Davis.

Dafoe joined the Board of Directors of Phoenix Rising in 2017.[1]

  • 2016, Dr. Dafoe and her husband, Dr. Ron Davis, protested with #MillionsMissing at the San Francisco satellite protest on May 25, 2016.[3]
  • 2017, Dr Dafoe couldn't attend the rally but her statement was read on her behalf[4]
  • 2018, Dr. Dafoe spoke at the 2018 #MillionsMissing Demonstration in San Francisco[5]
