Granulocyte

Granulocytes or granular leukocyte, or PMN' or polymorphonuclear leukocytes are a subset of leucocytes (white blood cells) which have granules with "enzymes that are released during infections, allergic reactions, and asthma". [1] Basophils, neutrophils and eosinophils are all granulocytes.
