Prevalence

  • Katrina Berne reports a prevalence of 30% for eye pain (although she notes that this is probably underreported and more prevalent than indicated).[1]
  • A 2013 study by Hutchinson, et al, using a patient population of 59 answering questions on the DePaul Symptom Questionnaire found a 86% prevalence.[2]
