Edward J. Conley, DO, founded the Fatigue, Fibromyalgia & Autoimmune Clinic in Flint, Michigan, USA. He is board certified Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. He, also, served as a camp physician for the U.S. Olympic Training Camp in Lake Placid.

In 1987, Conley was asked to help the wife of the hospital administrator who had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (then known as Chronic Epstein-Barr Virus Disease). He used his knowledge of improving mitochondria energy production that he gained from being an Olympic sports physician to help her recover. Through the support group she lead, word of his expertise spread throughout the U.S.[1]

Conley is the author of several books including: America Exhausted: Breakthrough Treatments of Fatigue and Fibromyalgia.
