A chronic cough or persistent cough may occur as a symptom of ME/CFS.

- 35.2% - 39.2% of the 2073 patients in a Belgian study of 2001 reported persistent cough.[1]

- A chronic cough may be caused by GERD, a common comorbidity of ME/CFS.
