Citalopram

Citalopram is an antidepressant also marketed under the brand name Celexa.[1] It belongs to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class of antidepressants.[1]

The Canadian Consensus criteria for ME/CFS states that citalopram may be useful for depression in people with ME/CFS.[2]

Side effects include:
- Feeling faint
- Heart palpitations
- Sweating
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Drowsiness
- Paresthesias anorexia
- Sinus congestion
- male sexual dysfunction
