Christopher Burton is general practitioner in Sheffield, UK. He is also an academic and writes extensively about medically unexplained symptoms and functional somatic syndromes, which he considers chronic fatigue syndrome to be an example of.[1]

Chris was been appointed to the review panel for the NICE guidelines review in October 2018, these guidelines which strongly influence NHS treatment and policy for people with ME/CFS in the UK.[2]
